Electronic News

Channel 7 news

Topic covering: "Child's body found in waters off Berkeley Marina; may be Jason Williams"

As I sat down and watched ABC 7 news, the anchors opened up with a loud - stern voice. The achors mannerism were very strong and with confidence. After the infromation was brought out to the network, they went to television and showed 8 consecutive commercials based on advertisements. There was no "happy talk" as this story was a breaking news coverage. This story was chosen because supposedly this child that was found in the waters could be Jason Williams, who has been missing for awhile. Their mannerisms are polite and up front while their facial expressions remain stern.

  2. The news people always love a story about a child missing, or drowning, or killed. It is so un-ethical to show these types of things. We don't know the child..let the families grieve and it is their personal business. The news need to stop cheap exploitation just to sell some cars in their ads.
